Frontera Fund provides financial and practical support for those from the Rio Grande Valley and/or traveling to the Rio Grande Valley for abortion care.
An appointment at a clinic is required before services can be administered.

Frontera Fund will contact you and ask you a few questions to determine how much funding and/or the type of practical support you qualify for. Once funding has been awarded Frontera Fund will send a voucher to the clinic with your name and appointment information indicating how much funding you are receiving.
Frontera Fund does not have the capacity to fund 100% of abortion costs and typically funds anywhere from $100 – $600 depending on gestation. If you are still in need of financial assistance you can contact the funds below.

The Afiya Center (TAC) was established in response to the increasing disparities between HIV incidences worldwide and the extraordinary prevalence of HIV among Black women and girls in Texas. TAC is unique in that it is the only Reproductive Justice (RJ) organization in North Texas founded and directed by Black women. Our mission is to serve Black women and girls by transforming their relationship with their sexual and reproductive health through addressing the consequences of reproductive oppression.

WRRAP is a non-partisan, non-profit organization helping women gain access to safe, legal abortion services and emergency contraceptives. We work with pre-qualified, reputable reproductive health clinics across the U.S. on behalf of disadvantaged women in need.

We believe that everyone deserves access to reproductive healthcare, regardless of income, socioeconomic status, living situation, race, gender identity, or sexual orientation. We understand that one’s legal right to have an abortion is meaningless without real access, and that a lack of transportation often presents a barrier to accessing the abortion one needs.
